As per our terms and conditions, for minor cosmetic damage such as marks, scuffs, scratches & dents, Hire A Mover will pay per $50 per item damaged. For larger damage claims and/or loss of items, you claim will need to be submitted to our insurance provider.

  • If you do not have the receipt please attach as much of the following as possible: credit card statements or tax invoices, certificates of authenticity, valuations, serial numbers, owners’ manuals, photographs of the item by itself, or of you wearing it (for jewellery).

  • For any claim you will need to attach a quote for repair. Only in circumstances where repair quotes are not available, will a quote for replacement be considered.
